Who Can Attend?

All divorce & break-up recovery groups are offered to anyone who wishes to learn and experience the support of others who are or have experienced the same life struggles.

What Is The Cost?​

There is No Cost with pre-registration. Any and all donations are welcome with 100% of all proceeds go directly back into the classes and divorce/recovery resources.

Facilitators have been trained to provide support and information that will enable people to journey through
the time during and after the divorce.

When Is The Next Class?
Woods Chapel United Methodist Church
Session 1 begins Mondays, October 7th, 6:30 to 8:30 PM and will proceed for 8 weeks

Saint Paul United Methodist Church
Session 1 begins Thursdays, October 3rd, 6:30 to 8:30 PM and will proceed for 8 weeks

What About Child Care?​

Free child care can be provided with pre-registration.

Divorce/Break Up Recovery I: Growth in the Endings Phase

Divorce/Break Up Recovery II: Self-awareness and Healing

This 8-week class for adults provides information and support for those in the beginning stages of recovery from divorce/break-up.  The focus is moving from the past to the future.  It is our hope that through your participation in divorce & break-up recovery you will:

This group helps you to accept the end of your relationship.  Say “good-bye” in this phase and deal with the emotional and psychological aspects of divorce or break-up, including “uncoupling.”

This 10-week class focuses on self-awareness and healing in the present.  You have completed or are in the process of completing, saying “good-bye” to the past and are ready to move to the next phase.

And so forth.

All classes are 2 hours long, usually held from 6:30-8:30 p.m.  The first hour is focused on a topic and the second hour is dedicated to discussion and sharing of stories.  Topics include: Loneliness, Co-parenting and more…
