Divorce/Break Up Recovery I: Growth in the Endings Phase
Divorce/Break Up Recovery II: Self-awareness and Healing
This 8-week class for adults provides information and support for those in the beginning stages of recovery from divorce/break-up. The focus is moving from the past to the future. It is our hope that through your participation in divorce/break-up recovery you will:
- Understand the divorce/break-up process as a journey of hope
- Experience a “safe” place in which you can share your story and grieve your losses
- Create a support system for yourself
This group helps you to accept the end of your relationship. Say “good-bye” in this phase and deal with the emotional and psychological aspects of divorce/break-up, including “uncoupling.”
This 10-week class focuses on self-awareness and healing in the present. You have completed or are in the process of completing, saying “good-bye” to the past and are ready to move to the next phase.
And so forth.
All classes are 2 hours long, usually held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The first hour is focused on a topic and the second hour is dedicated to discussion and sharing of stories. Topics include: Loneliness, Co-parenting and more…
